Early Access

Available on Android ahead of the general release

Relis is already live on iOS and the web. The Android build is the same, latest version, with no feature limitations.

Google Play will show this as a "test" version

Early access is delivered through Google Play's pre-release distribution. That is why the Play Store screen says "test version" and "become a tester" — but there are no feature limits or differences in behaviour. Only the wording differs.

What you get with early access

From planning to trackingProjects and lists turn "what to do, and when" into dates, and everything you finish stacks up as a record.
Works offlineRecord and review without a connection. Everything syncs automatically once you are back online.
AI assistantTell it what you want to learn, and it builds the project, lists, and study items for you.
Pomodoro timer and time trackingFocused time is recorded automatically, so you can look back on it later.
Study journal and statisticsYour daily records and how much you have kept up, shown as graphs.
The same account as iOS and the webSign in with the same account and your data follows you across devices.

Before you start

A Google Play account registered in Japan (early access is currently limited to Japan)
A device running Android 7.0 or later
A Google account (Gmail)
The same account you are signed in with on the Play Store

Outside Japan?

Android early access is limited to Japan for now, but you do not have to wait. Relis runs in any modern browser — the same app, the same account, nothing to install.

How to install (3 steps, about 2 minutes)

Important: follow the order

Please go through 1 → 2 → 3 in order. Doing it out of order will not install correctly.

1Join the distribution group

Google's pre-release distribution requires you to join a distribution group. It takes a single tap.

You may see "You do not have permission" — tapping "Join group" approves you automatically.

Join the distribution group

If nothing appears, type "relis-closed-testers@googlegroups.com" into the search box.

2Start early access

Open the link below and tap "Join" / "Become a tester" on the Play Store screen.

3Install the app

Tap the "Install" button on the same Play Store screen.

Notes

Relis is free to use. There are no in-app purchases on Android.
An email address is required to create an account. We do not collect any other personal information.
Because of how Google's pre-release programme works, it helps if you keep the app installed for about two weeks. You can remove it at any time.
If anything seems off, please let us know. We make improvements based on the feedback we receive.
