MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard that lets AI assistants read from and write to your apps directly. Once you connect Relis to Claude.ai, you can manage your tasks and projects through natural conversation without switching apps.

How to Set It Up in Claude.ai

Open "Customize"
Log in to claude.ai and click "Customize" in the left sidebar.

Add a connector
Click the "+" button next to "Connectors".

Enter a name and the URL
Enter a connector name, such as Relis, paste the URL below, then click "Add".

Sign in with your Relis account
A Relis login screen will appear. Sign in with the same email and password you use in the app, then approve the access request.

Enable the connector in a chat
Back in the chat view, tap "+" in the bottom-left of the input area, open "Connectors", then toggle Relis on. You are all set.

Start the conversation
Just say "What are my tasks for today?" and Claude will pull the answer from Relis.
How to Set It Up in ChatGPT
Names and steps may change as each service updates (as of October 2026). Depending on your plan or organization settings, you may not be able to do this.

Open "Plugins" in ChatGPT
Sign in at chatgpt.com and open "Plugins".

Add a custom MCP server
Click "+" and choose "Add custom MCP server".

Enter a name and the URL
Enter a name, such as Relis, and the server URL below. Choose "OAuth" for authentication.

Create it as a plugin
Read the warning about connecting to an external server, then click "Create as a plugin".

Sign in with your Relis account
A Relis sign-in screen will appear. Sign in with the same email and password you use in the app, then approve the access request.

Start the conversation
In a chat, choose the Relis plugin and ask "What are my tasks for today?"
See and Disconnect Connected AI Apps

Review and disconnect in Relis
In the app, open Settings → AI Integration → Connected AI apps to see which AI apps are connected. You will see the name, the access (read only or read and write), when it connected, and when it was last used. Use "Disconnect" for one app or "Disconnect all". It can take a few minutes to take effect.

Remove it in the AI app too
Remove Relis from the connector (plugin) screen in Claude or ChatGPT. Even after you disconnect in Relis, the AI app may still show Relis as connected. It cannot reach your data, and it will ask you to reconnect the next time you use it.

If you see a connection you do not recognize
If you do not recognize when a connection was made, disconnect it right away. The name is whatever the connecting app calls itself, so the name alone is not proof. If you are worried, contact Support.
Troubleshooting
- I cannot sign in on the sign-in screen
- Signing in for AI integration supports email and password only. Enter the email and password you use in the app.
- It says I need to reconnect
- The connection is no longer valid because you disconnected it in Relis or it was unused for a long time. Add the connector (plugin) again.
- I am asked to confirm every time something is written
- That is a setting in the AI app. In Claude, open the connector’s tool permissions and choose "Needs approval" or "Always allow" for each tool.
- A limit message appears when adding or creating things
- The free plan has the same capacity limits as the app. A Pro plan lifts them.
- I cannot import public lists or packs
- Importing is a Pro plan feature.
- I asked for today’s tasks, but the answer looks wrong
- The AI may look things up another way and give an incomplete answer. Try being specific, such as "Get today’s items from Relis".

Available Features by Plan
Reading is available on the free plan. Writing, such as adding, editing, or completing items, is also available on the free plan within the same capacity limits as the app (adding items, wiki pages, and journal entries has a monthly allowance shared with the in-app AI). Importing public lists and packs is a Pro plan feature.
